Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of Philosophers [NTU Subscription]

The Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of Philosophers features critical biographical entries on individuals who have contributed to the history of thought and philosophy. It is designed to grow each year, and the first stage includes more than 6,500 peer-reviewed entries on figures from America, Britain, Ireland, and the Middle East. Extensions to include thinkers from Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa are planned. The thinkers covered are from various fields such as economics, sciences, classics, political thought, philosophy, theology, literature, law, and medicine. Entries include a comprehensive overview of a subject’s life, work, and reception together with a bibliography and list of further reading.
